うãĪる verbs are godan verbs that end in either う, ãĪ, or る. Verbs of this type can be transformed into the ãĶ or た form by replacing the final character with ãĢãĶ or ãĢた.1

Examples: うãĪる transformation

  • įŽ‘ã† → įŽ‘ãĢãĶ / įŽ‘ãĢた
  • 持ãĪ → 持ãĢãĶ / 持ãĢた
