Anti-homestead ethics, such as Georgist anti-homestead ethic fail on the grounds of their own proposal. This is because in order to engage in ethical deliberation, one must engage in argumentation, and to do so one must engage in the homesteading of some scarce resource, such as standing room. One must therefore accept homesteading as argumentatively justifiable.
