The polycentrist solution does not resolve the contradiction implied by group ownership

Oct 22, 20251 min read

The polycentrist solution to the impossibility thesis posits that external arbitration may be utilised to assign the just director in cases of conflict over property under group ownership.1

This solution fails to resolve the contradiction posed by the impossibility thesis as there is still only going to be one owner who is decided upon by the external arbitrator, making it not group ownership.1
